If they continue down this path, the NFL will bleed out and die. I saw calls today (such as the TD that they pulled from Foster in Houston and the personal foul on 4th down against Philly) that never would have been called at any previous point in the history of the league. This is a damn dangerous road for the league to travel down, where they require a ridiculous continuation of any offensive play before it is considered possession and basically call any form of solid tackle a penalty.
To Jethro (because I can read minds now) yes... I'd rather watch guys get hit like deer on railroad tracks leading to scenarios like Curtis Painter having to start under center for a concussed Manning than watch some watered down piss of a game like the direction the league is heading. You get paid many millions of dollars... suck it up and take the fucking brain trauma. Sure, you may dribble soup on yourself at 60, but you'll actually belong among legends.
