FIRST DEADLINE THIS WEEK: Sunday at 1 PM ET
For full details about the format and rules, please read the 2010 GTF NFL Pick & Win (Intro & Rules) thread. All of those details apply, even if not covered in the basics below…
• Please post your picks in the same order in which I list the games
• Post in "Team by #" format ("Colts by 7"); You DO NOT need to predict an actual score ("Colts 24-17")
• Your pick for any given game must be posted before that game's kickoff time
• You can only edit a post up until kickoff time of the earliest game picked in that post
• Editing a post for any reason after its earliest game's kickoff time will invalidate all picks in it
• If games you've picked have begun, post a new reply to change/add a pick for a yet-to-start game
DOUBLE DOWN:
• You can (but aren't required to) designate any ONE game as a "Double Down"
• Do so by adding "DD" after your pick ("Patriots by 17 DD")
• Pick the winning team and get double the normal points for that game
• Pick the losing team and lose 20 points for that game
• There will be no Double Down picks during the playoffs
SCORING FORMAT:
• 35 Points – Correct Team; Correct Margin of Victory
• 25 Points – Correct Team; Margin of Victory within 1-3 Points
• 15 Points – Correct Team; Margin of Victory within 4-7 Points
• 10 Points – Correct Team; Margin of Victory within 8-13 Points
• 7 Points – Correct Team; Margin of Victory within 14-20 Points
• 5 Points – Correct Team; Margin of Victory within 21+ Points
• 5 Points – Correct Team with no Margin of Victory prediction
• 0 Points – Incorrect Team OR Game Ends in a Tie
• Double Down: Correct Team = Game Points x 2
• Double Down: Incorrect Team = Lose 20 Points
• 25 Bonus Points in Standings – Each Weekly Winner (Tie = Both Get 25)
• 50 Bonus Points in Final Standings – Most Perfects During Entire Season
