Just to clarify this while it's on my mind...I went back and found the scoring formula for the original Elimination Chamber. We're going to use the same formula again this month. And it's kind of funny...I don't even have to change the part about if Triple H wins, since he was champ going into the last Chamber as well. *sigh*
Anyway...the Elimination Chamber will be scored as follows:
* The winner will receive 50 points for winning
* The runner-up will receive 25 points for finishing second
* Wrestlers will receive 20 bonus points for each opponent they eliminate
* The 40 point title win bonus will be awarded if someone other than Triple H wins
Thus, a total of 215 points are possible. For instance, if Jericho eliminates all 5 of his opponents (100 bonus points), wins the match (50 points), and wins the title (40 points), he would score 190 points and the runner-up would earn 25.
The winner (if not Triple H) is essentially guaranteed at least 110 points (50 + 20 for eliminating the runner-up + 40 title bonus). So this should be a huge payday for those who pick the winner...
