I'd like to thank all of you for your help with baseball. There weer some good suggestions even though most of them were biased picked (indians, dodgers).
Moving on to football, I need a new team. Long gone is the era of Don Shula and Dan Marino. And while I still love me some Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor, their days in the orginization must be numbered.
The front office is a disaster. Ricky Williams, Nick Sabin and Dante Culpepper were busts. I blame the Miami downfall mostly on Williams as I think Miami was a piece away from winning a championship with Williams until he retired one week before camp opened. Fucked us good.
Sabin left us high and dry after saying several times he wouldn't. Culpeppper the 'next great Dolphin QB' played in 4 maybe 5 games last year, and may never play again.
Front office decisons and a fluke 9-7 season has pushed back any chance for Miami to be contenders for years. The defense is still good, and with Joey Porter they could be great. But time is ticking as Taylor almost retired last year and Zach Thomas is entering his 11th year.
Once again I am not a front runner. Though I like the Colts, I cannot pick them. No AFC East teams either. Fuck the Jets, they are just as bad as the Mets. Bills and Pats can go fuck themselves as well. No chance of me ever picking the Cowboys either.
I will tell you I am tempted to pick the Eagles. It's the one home team I've never rooted for.
Same criteria as baseball. A good young team with a smart front office and a strong foundation of players.
No criminals need apply.
