Criteria for Zman's new baseball team.
1. No team from New York. I may desert the Phillies, but there is no way in hell I am ever rooting for any fucking New York team. Fuck them and their stupid New Yawk accents. Their faggy elitist attitude's and superiority complexes. This will remain constant for the rest of my life. Any team that can make New York's life miserable the better chance I may pick them.
2. I am not a front runner. Although I do want a winner, I will not make my decision solely on what chance they this year. To prove this I will eliminate the last two World Champions, the Cards and the White Sox from the running.
It's a shame about the White Sox, I love Jim Thome.
3. No Braves, although I would like a team that is Brave-like. A team that has a great front office and a head coach that beats his wife on occasion is fine as long as he get the best out of his players.
4. The closer the better. Not a must but it would be nice to see the team a couple of time a year. This would put Baltimore or the Nats in good position, though I may avoid the Nats because seeing them play the Phillies may be a little uncomfortable for the both of us.
5. A team with players that will stay a long time. It's hard to tell, but a team with alot of young players that are guaranteed to stay for the next 5-7 years the better.
6. Fundamentals. I will take a team that lacks talent but do not lack the fundamentals. It comes across as lazy.
7. Fuck New York, go suck a cock.
Please aid me in my holy quest to turn my miserable sports life into a productive happy one.
