The debate actually picked up a bit today. A Calvinist jumped up and talked about predestination, which I think isnt true at all.

The question arose again and the prof said something I agree with. In a theological point of view It is out of God's character to do something of that nature. To send someone to hell that in no way shape or form respond to it. Such as baby's who die or down syndrome patients.

But the people who are alive and well. The ones who can hear the word of God just have noone to explain it to them..do they go to hell? I say yes they do. Here is my reasoning.

God told us as Christians to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. It is our duty as Christians to preach and teach the Gospel. God can reveal himself through creation all he wants and he can give the desire in a persons heart. But we as humans must take action and respond. Anyways, my point is that everyone who can hear the word of God just never does get a chance too does go to heaven. It is the Christians responsibility to seek them out. Its Gods responsibility to give them grace. Without us it isnt possible and they will go to hell...because of us not God.

Just a personal opinion. Im still researching this topic so feel free to comment.
The tragedy of life is not found in failure but complacency. Not in you doing too much, but doing too little. Not in you living above your means, but below your capacity. Never failure but low aim, is life greatest tragedy.
