yeah Burd...ummm I don't eat possum. I knew people in the south that did, but I don't get into any type of roadkill meat. That basically takes care of your possum, muskrat, and other such things.

Beany,

My wife actually feels the same way you do so I can understand. Of course she lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan for a long time before I moved her out of there so she is a city girl.

Animal is just an animal to me. Difference in how we were raised I guess. I have had pets that were attacked by raccoons, possum, and skunks so at a young age I have been killing them. Doesn't bother me a bit, but if your not used to dealing with animals outside of dogs and cats, I can understand. I don't like shooting dogs at all, I had to kill an old beagle, Ol Yeller style when I was 12 and I swore I would never do that again and I haven't.

Coyotes on the other hand are dangerous around here. Generally, Coyotes have a natural fear of man, but these Coyotes have actually lost their fear over the years. Thanks goes to the fine people that feed these animals. Folks, do not feed animals that are wild, you want them to be afraid of you. There has been one report, and I don't know if I believe it or not, where a Coyote attacked a man. The man shot it, but still it is rare that Coyotes attack humans. Coyotes have become problems for the different farm animals around here.

AW,

It is hard to catch and kill Coyotes because they are so cunning. The most I got in one day was two, but anytime I have shot a Coyote during the day it has been by chance. If you really want to shoot Coyotes you have to hunt them at night. If you were really dedicated you could do what you say, but it would be hard to get one a day. It would probably be hard to get one a week. Coyotes adapt so well to their surroundings that they it would be hard to find them eventually.

Yeah, but that's kinda the plan when you're in your early 20's and single. You go to a party or a bar, while sober you test the water with the hot chicks, if nobody bites, then you get shitfaced enough that the double baggers start looking pretty good and you move in for the kill.
