I recently bumped the post because it was a good post. I bumped a few other Aqua posts for my own nefarious reasons (if it isn't obvious, I'm not telling you). I'm not worshipping him, but given that Aqua was a bit more receptive to my posts, even when he disagreed with them, than the vast majority of the remnant of GTF leads me to miss the guy and the stories about his fiance/wife.

Still, I don't like this whole Stephen Martin "gotta clean up the dirt so no one knows what a jerk I am" movement. It's similar to how **edited by Yuku Legal-- despite associating her real name with her Internet identity -- doesn't want to be known for all of the racist bullshit she posted for a public audience and goes on a rampage whenever you mention her name in a less than flattering light.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying you don't write some things you are ashamed of. There are plenty of stupid posts that I've written that I wish I could take back. For instance, yes, in many threads I was being an ignorant ass. If you're confronted with one of these events years later, what you do is just admit you were wrong. You don't try to cover your shit up. Furthermore, you don't pimp yourself out there like a celebrity, passing out your birthday and full name like candy, get yourself archived on Google, then cry someone is using your name -- not impersonating, just mentioning it -- without permission. Heck, people have tracked me down in two seconds (yes, that's all it takes, I am very easy to find) and posted my real name and address all over the Internet simply because they don't like me. Why would you give the entire world personal information, write stupid shit, then try to hide from it?
