I'm sure money played into it.  But look at it this way.  The Eagles couldn't keep McNabb, Vick, AND Kolb all on the roster, could they?  (That was at least their judgement)  And as their franchise QB of the future, Kolb was a sacred cow.  They reportedly shopped around Vick but had no takers.  McNabb had interest so they did a deal.  The one thing that would concern me isn't that they traded him, but that they traded him inside the division.  So yeah, maybe there was something going on behind the scenes we didn't know about to influence the trade, but I honestly think it was a case of wanting to get rid of one of their veteran QBs and it happening to be McNabb who had a market.  Also, let's remember that McNabb's history with injuries is pretty bad, and that's not a good thing for a QB with his style and age.
