Am I allowed to point out that my original post makes little sense, Beans and Mop were right to ridicule it, and it seems to have evolved to simply be the backdrop for political opinions as the midterms draw near?  That's kind of what I meant originally anyway.  I almost titled the subject 'Linda McMahon (NSFW.)'  I think that woulda been better than the Sublime reference that probably no one got.

Anyway, about the elections.  I'm surprised to say this, especially so late in the game (as I thought things would normalize), but it's looking more and more like it may be possible for a GOP Senate.  The 'toss-up' category has Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Washington and West Virginia (Republicans have to win all six for a true majority.)  The Dems in the first four races are all (except for Sestak) very weak candidates, and will probably lose.  I'm not too torn about this, personally.  I think Reid needs to go (plus Angle will be great to make fun of) and Mark Kirk is a solid candidate while the Greek banker dude isn't (Madigan should've run.)  Rossi/Murray round 2 looks to be just as close as round 1.  Then there's Joe Manchin in West Virginia, which is very interesting considering his popularity and Obama's unpopularity in the state.  I dunno, I think the latter two go to the Dems, but I wouldn't be surprised if the wave gives them both to the GOP.  Not unlike Webb winning Virginia in 2006.  What I'm really looking forward to, is Chuck Schumer and Eric Cantor being two of the three most powerful people in Congress.  Go Jews!!!
