Doughboy, at the one hour mark last week there was a total of 6 minutes of wrestling on Impact, and no match seems to go over 3:30 unless its a main event. The big live event they did from Vegas not to long ago was the exact same way. No wrestling. I remember initially it was TNA's calling card and even if the guys working for the brand were generic and vanilla and couldn't cut a promo to save their lives, you could watch wrestling. What happened to the X-division? Wasn't TNA getting better PPV buys back when they had the shows circle around that?

You talk about promotions being as exciting as they were in the 90s. Think about it, what is it going to take? Remember when you couldn't miss Raw or Nitro? People were talking about Austin running into the arena in a beer truck. Or the nWo taking over WCW. I mean, both brands were just hot and cant miss. There isn't anything that is can't miss about WWE or TNA right now. Its just run of the mill pro wrestling. Nothing is watercooler material, or crazy wild stuff that hasn't happened in pro wrestling before, its just week after week the same ole crap. It seems to me, that there is no reason for Vince to change his formula, because he isn't going out of business or getting challenged anytime soon.

This is why I get so disappointed with TNA because they are now adopting the WWE's formula and making their programs just the same and the whole MEM thing that I'm circling back to, is just a retread that isn't going to do anything to make them a better program. Problem with that is though, they are centering the entire promotion around this right now.
