Game -

And for crying out loud, use some of the talent you have lying around. They had to change from "Originals" to "Frontline" because they started involving guys like Rhyno and Team 3D, who were obviously well-known stars elsewhere prior to coming to TNA. But they actually do have talent to use - if they'd just use it, instead of resorting to strengthening the group with WWE castoffs.
- Exactly, that's what I've been thinking through this whole thing.

Ped - You're bringing up something I never got. Do you like wrestling?

I'll ask again - Do you like wrestling?

I'm not a big on the big three sports, but I had a period where I watched hockey nonstop and baseball for a time. I seem to remember during those times I would watch anything of those sports that came over the tv. I run into it all the time, I'll go over to a friends house and he'll have college football on. And he's not watching his favorite teams either. Anytime I ever asked anyone why they do that, and why I did it, is because people like the sport and want to see what's going on, and who's coming up, who you're favorite team will be picking up. And I can't imagine all those games being watched are the greatest, and some probably suck. Same is true for anything you like - games, movies, music.

So how can you sit back and say you want wrestling on TNA when they've had it all this time? They just had the storyline where AJ and Angle wrestled and AJ got Kurt's medals. In fact it was a lead up to this whole MEM angle. I got a friend into TNA watching Petey Williams. I mean even in the MEM angle you could say a bright spot is they have kept continuity. Steiner comes back and didn't attack Williams.

The truth is wrestling has always been there in both companies, you just don't want to watch because of one crap angle? Just tell me when in the whole history of wrestling there has been a period where you don't have crap angles with good angles, go ahead tell me, I'm waiting. So as a fan you want to stop watching over MEM, okay fine but then maybe you don't like wrestling period. Because as much as we may not like it, all those things you listed as a gimmicks are here to stay for the near future. In fact I would imagine there are those who don't have a clue they are gimmicks because they haven't been watching long enough.

Honestly I can't stand Jericho in WWE, you may love it, but for me the whole Jericho coming back and title run after title run is about as exciting as MEM. But it's not going to stop me from watching because I actually enjoy watching wrestling. It's actually how I've always been. I mean I go away from it from time to time, but I enjoy wrestling so I come back to watching it eventually. Right now WWE and TNA have their strengths and weaknesses for me.

I will say my biggest problem with MEM is TNA was an alternative to WWE and since they came on TV with Impact it's been this slow build toward a WWE product. Guys I like are not getting time on TV anymore and there is too much talking for my taste.

And the other thing you could throw into this whole mix I think the public as a whole is sick of it. How many deaths have happened recently in the last 2/3 years? And you can't tell Benoit didn't effect the downslide. I don't thing there is anything either company could do to excite the world back into watching them as much as the 90's. That's going to take time.
